My name is Laurence. I was a primary school teacher and then a headteacher for 30 years, a profession I deeply loved. And then life insistently invited me to take a different path. A path filled with the scent of lavender, vegetables from the garden, flour on my hands… and freedom. After experiencing burnout, I needed to breathe, to rebuild myself, and to create a simple, genuine and peaceful place. A place where we care for others in the way we would have liked to be cared for ourselves. Over the years, the house has become a haven for those seeking gentleness, peace and authenticity. And little by little, it has allowed me to rediscover a different way of living, sharing and welcoming others… in my own way.
