The property has been designed with motorcyclists in mind and welcomes both solo riders and groups. It works equally well for an overnight stop or a longer stay exploring the high mountain passes of the Ariège. ACCOMMODATION The house has five rooms, two with private bathrooms and three with shared bathrooms and toilets. The property can accommodate up to eight guests in total. MEALS Breakfast is included in the room rate. Evening meals are available by reservation on the night of arrival and the night before departure. A welcome drink is offered on arrival. BIKER WELCOME Motorcycles can be stored in a locked garage on the property with space for up to six bikes and easy access. A compressor is available for checking and adjusting tire pressure, and workshop stands can be used for minor maintenance, except for motorcycles with single sided swingarms. The hosts are happy to recommend roads, scenic spots and places to visit in the area, and they sometimes head out for a ride with their guests. Guest reviews often highlight the warm and friendly welcome, with many saying that they are treated like old friends. ROADS & SCENERY The high mountain passes of the Ariège are easily accessible from the valley. The Col de Port leads from Tarascon sur Ariège toward Massat and the Couserans. The Port de Lers can be reached through the Vicdessos Valley and continues over the Col d'Agnès toward Aulus les Bains, following a narrow and winding mountain road near the Étang de Lers. To the east, the Col du Chioula rises above Ax les Thermes. From Mijanès, the road toward Ascou crosses the Port de Pailhères, the highest road pass in the Ariège at 2,001 meters. It is closed during winter. The N20 follows the valley toward Ax les Thermes and continues further south toward Andorra. For riders looking to avoid the main road, the Route des Corniches follows the mountainside above the Ariège Valley between Bompas and Ax les Thermes and can be reached from Les Cabannes or Luzenac. From Les Cabannes, the climb to the Plateau de Beille is a 16 kilometer mountain road reaching an altitude of 1,790 meters, with wide views over the surrounding peaks. For a day away from the motorcycle, the area also offers access to the GR10 hiking trail, climbing in the Quié massif, canyoning and thermal baths. Merci pour votre excellent accueil. Nous sommes arrivés mouillés: casques et gants ont été mis à sécher, les vêtements de pluie suspendus. Grace à la convivialité immédiate, nous étions comme chez des copains! Chambre agréable, les petits déjeuners et les repas du soir sont bons et copieux. Nous sommes restés plusieurs jours et recommandons le Chalet des Motards sans aucune retenue. Merci encore et au plaisir de vous revoir.

Nous y étions l'année dernière a plusieurs motos. Nous avons passé un tres agréable séjour. Eric et Christelle sont très accueillant et tres gentil. Ils nous ont fait découvrir des endroits magnifiques. Je recommande vivement et j'ai hâte d'y retourner tres bientôt. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil et gentillesse. Un séjour inoubliable.
