Bivo Moto Terms of Use

1. Purpose

Bivo Moto is a search, listing and introduction service for motorcycle travelers. The bivomoto.com website allows users to discover motorcycle-friendly accommodation, access establishments' contact details, and get in touch with them directly.

Bivo Moto does not carry out any booking and does not receive any payment from travelers. Any booking is made directly between the user and the accommodation, by direct contact, on the establishment's official website, or through the booking tool it uses.

3. Access to the service

Access to the site is free for any visitor with an internet browser and connection. No account is required to browse listings, filter results, reveal a phone number, open the contact form, or access a booking link.

Creating an account is required to save favourites, publish a review, or reveal an establishment's Bivo Bonus.

Bivo Moto strives to ensure continuity of service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or for reasons beyond its control.

4. Creating and managing an account

An account can be created using an email address and password, or via Google authentication (OAuth). The user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential.

The display name can be changed at any time from the account settings. The email address is read-only after registration.

To request account deletion, the user should send a request to contact@bivomoto.com. Deletion results in the anonymisation of published reviews, the removal of favourites, and unsubscription from the newsletter, in accordance with the privacy policy.

Bivo Moto reserves the right to delete an account in the event of fraudulent or abusive use, or non-compliance with these terms.

5. Favourites

Favourites allow a logged-in user to save accommodations to a personal list, accessible from their account area. Favourites are linked to the account and deleted when the account is closed.

6. Reviews

Logged-in users may submit a review of an accommodation, consisting of a rating (1 to 5 stars), a display first name, and a comment. Only one review is allowed per accommodation and per account.

Reviews are moderated by the Bivo Moto team before publication. Only approved reviews are displayed publicly. Bivo Moto does not verify that the author actually stayed at the establishment concerned; reviews are therefore not described as "verified".

The author of a review may request its deletion or the anonymisation of their identity by writing to contact@bivomoto.com, without having to delete their entire account.

By submitting a review, the user attests that its content is genuine and reflects their actual experience. Reviews that are abusive, defamatory, promotional, or unrelated to the accommodation concerned may be rejected or removed by Bivo Moto.

7. Contacting a host

The contact form allows any visitor to send a message to an accommodation. The following information is sent to the host: first name, last name, email address, message, and, where provided, the number of motorcycles indicated. The host may reply directly to the email address provided.

Bivo Moto only handles the transmission of the message. It makes no commitment regarding the host's response time and takes no part in the relationship established between the user and the accommodation.

8. Links and redirects

Accommodation listings may include a link to the establishment's official website or to the booking tool it uses. This link is a direct redirect, with no affiliate parameters and no commission received by Bivo Moto.

Bivo Moto is not responsible for the content, availability, or terms applied by third-party sites to which these links redirect. Any complaint relating to a booking must be addressed directly to the accommodation concerned.

9. Listing content

Accommodation listings are written and updated by the Bivo Moto team. Hosts do not have direct access to the platform to edit their own listing.

Bivo Moto strives to ensure the accuracy of the information published. If an error is found, a correction request can be sent to contact@bivomoto.com.

10. Listing of establishments

Listing on Bivo Moto is open to accommodations that welcome motorcycle travelers and offer a clearly identified parking solution. Bivo Moto classifies this solution according to its level of protection: enclosed garage, enclosed parking, or private unenclosed parking.

Listing suggestions can be submitted via the dedicated form on the site. They are reviewed by the Bivo Moto team, which remains the sole decision-maker regarding publication.

Bivo Moto reserves the right to refuse to list an establishment, to temporarily unpublish a listing, or to remove it permanently, in particular in the event of inaccurate information, repeated reports, or cessation of activity.

11. Ranking of results

Bivo Moto does not list every accommodation available in a given destination. Listing is currently free of charge.

Establishments are displayed in a random order that is refreshed with each new browsing session. No payment, subscription, or commercial arrangement influences their position in the results.

The "New arrivals" section on the homepage displays listings that have been recently added or updated.

12. Bivo Pro

Bivo Pro is a program for hosts who wish to be listed on Bivo Moto with support from the team. The conditions for joining the program are communicated when contact is made.

13. Intellectual property

Elements created by Bivo Moto, including its visual identity, original text, structure, and database, are protected under intellectual property law. Photographs, trademarks, and content provided by hosts or originating from third parties remain the property of their respective owners and are used with their authorization or under the applicable license.

Reviews published by users remain their own responsibility. By submitting a review, the user authorises Bivo Moto to display it on the site.

14. Liability and limitations of liability

Bivo Moto is a search, listing and introduction service. Bivo Moto is not a party to any contract concluded between a user and a host, and takes no part in the booking, the payment, or the performance of the stay.

Bivo Moto strives to publish accurate and up-to-date information. However, some information is provided by hosts or may change after a listing was last updated. Before booking, users are encouraged to check directly with the establishment on essential information, in particular availability, rates, booking conditions, services offered, and parking characteristics.

Bivo Moto cannot in particular be held liable for:

• a host's failure to respond or the impossibility of completing a booking;
• a change in rates, availability, services, terms of stay, or parking characteristics decided by a host;
• the cancellation, payment, quality, or performance of a stay;
• the content, availability, operation, or security of third-party booking sites and tools;
• consequences resulting from inaccurate or outdated information despite reasonable measures taken to keep it up to date;
• a temporary interruption of the site linked to maintenance, a network or technical provider failure, an event of force majeure, or any other circumstance reasonably beyond its control.

Users remain responsible for the reviews, messages, and other content they submit on Bivo Moto. Bivo Moto may moderate, refuse, or remove any content that violates these terms or applicable regulations.

Bivo Moto remains liable for damages resulting from a breach directly attributable to it, under the conditions provided for by law. No provision of these terms is intended, or shall have the effect, of excluding or limiting a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. Changes to these terms and contact

Bivo Moto may amend these terms to reflect changes to the service or applicable regulations. The update date appears at the top of this page.

These terms are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory provisions that may apply in the user's country of residence.
