Description

Gîte Gamachot is a whole house rental in Noaillan, in southern Gironde, set deep in an oak forest on an unfenced property. Fully renovated in 2024, the house is rented as one unit and can accommodate up to eleven guests. It is particularly well suited to groups travelling together, whether for a weekend getaway or a full week on the road. ACCOMMODATION The house has four bedrooms, including two master suites, with four double beds and one single bed. A sofa bed brings the total capacity to eleven guests. There are also two bathrooms and two separate toilets. BIKER WELCOME Motorcycles can be parked on a private enclosed area with camera surveillance. A garage is also available and can be left open or locked. The property can accommodate around ten motorcycles in total. ROADS & SCENERY Southern Gironde does not offer mountain passes or cliffside roads, but the appeal of the area lies in the variety of landscapes and the contrast between vineyards, river valleys and forest roads. To the north, the Sauternes and Barsac wine country offers small roads winding through the vineyards toward the Garonne Valley and Langon. Closer to the house, the Ciron Valley follows wooded roads toward Villandraut, Préchac and Uzeste before continuing toward Bazas. These roads can easily be combined into a shorter loop directly from the property. Heading west, the Landes de Gascogne forest takes over, with long roads running through the pine trees toward Arcachon Bay and the Dune du Pilat. Depending on the season, the surrounding area also offers fishing, canoeing, golf and hiking.
