Le Flocon Blanc is a fully rented chalet in La Chapelle d'Abondance, in Haute-Savoie, located in a wooden residence built in 2023 at the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area. It sits just a few steps from the village center and its shops, at the end of the Abondance Valley. The accommodation is particularly suited to groups looking for a base for several days, with a minimum stay of two nights. ACCOMMODATION The entire property is reserved for your group, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large living area accommodating between six and eight people. The residence faces south and overlooks the Crêt Béni slopes. A bus stop serving the valley and the Portes du Soleil ski area is located directly outside the residence. BIKER WELCOME Motorcycles can be parked in the residence's closed underground garage, with a private parking space allocated to the accommodation. Access is directly at the foot of the building and is easy. Two motorcycles can be parked there free of charge. ROADS & SCENERY The valley road connecting Thonon-les-Bains to Châtel passes directly through the village. It is a winding and flowing route that follows the Abondance River between alpine pastures and limestone cliffs. At the top of the valley, the Pas de Morgins crosses into Switzerland toward Val-d'Illiez and the Valais Chablais and remains open year-round. From Châtel, the Col de Bassachaux climbs along a narrow mountain road toward Lac de Montriond and Morzine. The pass is closed during winter. Further down the valley, the Col du Corbier provides access to the Aulps Valley, making it possible to create a loop through Morzine and the Col de Bassachaux without retracing the same road. From Morzine, the Col de Joux Plane leads toward Samoëns and is also closed during winter. At the entrance to the valley, on the shores of Lake Geneva, Thonon-les-Bains marks the starting point of the Route des Grandes Alpes.
