Created by motorcyclists for motorcyclists, it has been welcoming riders for more than fifty years and still attracts a largely two wheeled crowd. Pitches and rental accommodations are available for both overnight stops and longer stays exploring the surrounding roads. The campsite is seasonal and will be open from May 4 to September 20 in 2026. ACCOMMODATION The pitches are spread across a wooded area and are available with or without electrical hookup. Some are located directly alongside the Gervanne River. Vans, caravans and motorhomes are welcome up to a maximum length of 6.5 meters. Rental options cover several levels of comfort. These include a four bed room, a wooden cabin, a Canada Trek tent for two and a gypsy wagon for two with its own bathroom. Lodge Canada and Lodge Kenya tents are also available, along with a Cottage mobile home featuring a kitchen or kitchenette. Pitches and most rental accommodations can be booked by the night. Some options require a minimum stay of between two and four nights. FOOD & DRINK The campsite has its own bar and restaurant, open in the morning and evening. Dinner is based around a set menu prepared on site. Reservations are recommended. Light snacks are also available from reception during opening hours. BIKER WELCOME Motorcycles can be parked directly next to the pitch or rental accommodation, while cars remain in the parking area at the campsite entrance. The campsite can accommodate around one hundred motorcycles, although groups of more than twenty riders are not accepted. A self service workshop is available for minor mechanical work and maintenance. Support vehicles and trailers can also be left on site while guests are out riding and can be stored during the stay. ROADS & SCENERY Reception provides a roadbook with several routes starting directly from the campsite, including loops through the Vercors, the Roanne Valley, the Col de Menée, the Ardèche Gorges, Mont Ventoux, Lac de Serre Ponçon, Chartreuse and the Lans plateau. The Vercors is the closest riding area, with roads such as the Col de Rousset, Col de la Machine and Combe Laval, where the road runs along the cliff face. From the campsite, the road follows the Gervanne toward the Omblèze gorges before climbing to the Col de la Bataille, which is closed during winter. Further down the valley, the Drôme River leads toward Crest in one direction and Saillans in the other. From Saillans, riders can continue toward the Col de la Chaudière beneath the Trois Becs and on toward Die.
