Fully renovated and rated 3 stars as a furnished tourist rental, it is rented as an entire property and can accommodate up to 4 people. With weekly rates and a minimum stay of three nights, it is particularly well suited as a base for exploring the region over several days. ACCOMMODATION The cottage is entirely on one level and is wheelchair accessible. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed measuring 160 x 200 cm and the other with two single beds measuring 80 x 190 cm. There is also a living and dining area, an open kitchen, a bathroom with a walk in shower, a separate toilet and a laundry room. The interior has a clean and contemporary feel. The property opens directly onto the surrounding countryside and is not fenced. BIKER WELCOME Motorcycles can be parked free of charge in a secure closed garage on the property. The garage has space for up to four bikes and offers direct access. Violette and Bernard, the owners, enjoy welcoming motorcyclists and are happy to share their knowledge of the local area. ROADS & SCENERY The cottage sits between Graulhet and Réalmont, in the center of the Tarn, with rolling hills to the south and east and more open landscapes to the west. Heading southeast, the road climbs toward the Sidobre and its famous granite landscapes above Castres, before continuing toward the Monts de Lacaune, through forests, past Lac du Laouzas and toward the Pic du Montalet. To the south, the Montagne Noire can be explored via Mazamet and the climb toward the hilltop village of Hautpoul, with its Himalayan style footbridge, or by taking the road toward the Pic de Nore, the highest point of the massif. On the other side, the route descends toward Lac de Saint Ferréol and Les Cammazes, close to the headwaters of the Canal du Midi. To the northwest, the narrow roads of the Grésigne forest connect Castelnau de Montmiral, Puycelsi and Penne, winding between the Vère and Aveyron valleys and extending naturally into the Gaillac wine country. Further west, the Lauragais plain opens up with wider roads and more flowing riding. Albi and its Sainte Cécile Cathedral, Cordes sur Ciel, Lautrec and the bastide villages of the Pays de Cocagne can all be included along these routes.

It is a great area to explore by motorcycle or bicycle, and it is also perfect for nature lovers. We particularly enjoy welcoming motorcyclists and the friendly spirit they bring.
