Nestled in the hamlet of Le Blanchet, in the commune of Venterol, La Méridienne guesthouse enjoys a stunning natural setting at nearly 1,000 metres altitude, right in the heart of a Natura 2000 protected site. The property offers 5 comfortable guest rooms in a calm and light-filled atmosphere, with views over the mountains and surrounding countryside. A heated pool is available during the season for some well-deserved downtime. Every morning, a continental breakfast is served, made up of homemade products and local specialities. A table d'hôtes dinner is also available on certain evenings, featuring home-cooked meals prepared with fresh, local ingredients (reservation required, exclusively for guests). Perfectly located near Gap and the Gap-Tallard aerodrome, this place is an ideal base for outdoor adventures: hiking, mountain biking, via ferrata, white-water sports, or aerial activities. Dinner is served every evening except Thursday, making it easy to wind down after a great day on the road or trails. Valérie prepares the meal using local produce — aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, and a glass of wine all included for €30 per person. Coffee or herbal tea rounds off the evening. To keep things running smoothly, dinner reservations must be made at least 72 hours before arrival. Packed lunches are also available — perfect for day rides, hikes, or a picnic by the lake. The picnic basket is priced at €10 per person, with a minimum reservation 72 hours before arrival.
